I had Sculpsure to abs and flanks on 4/4 and 5/23. Shortly after the second procedure I noticed some irregularities like too much fat was removed in localized areas like lipo. I massaged as directed. Posted on here and received encouragement that this would resolve with time. I am 3 weeks away from 12 weeks out from the 2nd tx and am very worried about this. It is very hard to photograph but very obvious in person. Is there any hope or have I deformed myself?
Hi and thank you for your question! You might see some irregular results following any fat reduction treatments (non-surgical or surgical) simply because the structure of the fat deposits under our skin is not necessarily homogenous everywhere and the response to treatment may vary from area to area. You can continue with massaging the area and also continue with the remaining sessions of SculpSure to see if they help. Another option is to combine other treatments such as radiofrequency treatments (e.g. Venus Freeze) to help with achieving a more uniform results as well as stimulating more collagen synthesis that can further tighten the skin and help improving the results. I hope it helps and good luck!
