Are there any non surgical procedures to slim the bottom half of my face?
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago The bottom half of my face used to be more oval and it’s become more square over the years. Is there any way I could reduce the size and make it look more oval without surgery?

Hi and thank you for your question! Without having seen you and doing a detailed exam (a must!), I can tell you that in general there are several nonsurgical treatment options available to slim down the lower face and great a more oval-shaped face. We can do various fillers injected in areas such as cheeks and temples. Sometimes creating a more defined jawline with fillers (or PDO thread lift) can also help. For patients with bulky masseter muscles, we can also use Botox injections to relax the muscles and reduce its bulkiness to some degrees. In short, there are several options available and it would be best to consult an experienced cosmetic doctor to discuss all the options. I hope it helps and good luck!
