Best non-surgical treatment to get rid of fat dimples/cellulite?
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago I am 22 years old, very active, eat a very healthy diet, but I have had the same fat dimples on the sides of my thighs and some butt cellulite since I was in high school that I absolutely can’t get rid of no matter what I do. What is the best non-surgical way to get rid of these?

Hi and thank you for your question! There really is no single “best” treatment for cellulite as development of cellulite is a complex process and individual patients may respond differently to each treatment. In my opinion, better treatments for cellulite are those that address the main underlying issues: excessive and/or misplaced fat and disruption of extracellular matrix (collagen, etc). In my clinic we tend to see good results with Venus Freeze (an FDA-cleared radiofrequency and magnetic pulsing treatment), as it targets both issues. However, for best results multiple sessions (5-8) over 1-2 weeks apart are recommended and many patients still see additional benefits from maintenance treatments over time.
