Can lots of Sculptra/Radiesse injections change your face forever?
A patient Staff asked 9 years ago I started the injections aged 27 and have had two lots of Sculptra, and about six lots of Radiesse. Nearly two years have gone by and my face shape has altered so dramatically and isn’t going back to how it was at all. It was once delicate but is now very heavy and broad/masculine. I saw two different injectors (both surgeons) who are blaming each other so can’t go back to either for impartial advice. My chin and cheeks are very wide now, would surgery help if nothing changes in the next year?

Hi and thank you for sharing your question here. Both of theses fillers are considered stimulatory fillers and to some extent can stimulate new collagen synthesis and remodeling, which tends to make their results longer-lasting. Nonetheless, they still cannot be considered permanent fillers and they are not expected to change the shape and appearance of face permanently. It might be best to assess the changes objectively by comparing your before and after pictures. I hope it helps and good luck!
