Face fillers: do they improve after time? 55 yrs old. Voluma then Vobella
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago Had cheek/marionette/jaw fillers over a month ago. At first I was concerned w/bruises/swelling & not seeing a difference. However over the last 2 weeks I’ve noticed a huge difference/improvement & I’m getting compliments on my skin. I thought I was imagining-am I ??

Hi and thank you for your question! I am glad to hear that you are happy with the results, and I am sure you are not imagining things! As a matter of fact, your experience is very common in my patients and I always advise my patients to allow 2 weeks to pass following any filler treatments for the swelling and bruising (if any) to completely resolved and for the treatment results to settle in. The swelling is not always clearly visible but it can persist for some time and affect the look, but when it’s gone within the two-week period, the treatment results will fully emerge and most patients will be positively surprised just like you!
