How do I get my skin tighter?
A patient Staff asked 7 years ago How can I make my skin tighter like a model? I don’t like my skin and the side of my lips are kinda hanging down but I’m young, is that normal? There are some examples of how I want my skin to be and I know I can’t be exactly like them but they’re just some examples.

Hi and thank you for your question! Many patients are looking for treatment options for tightening the skin and given the individual characteristics and expectations, it is very important to do an in-person consultation as every patient is different. Generally speaking, there is no treatment that can do the magic in one sitting and for best results, you should commit yourself into an ongoing treatment plan. I generally recommend energy-based treatments for skin tightening and examples include Venus Freeze (which uses radiofrequency and magnetic pulsing) as well as Ultherapy which uses ultrasound and many patients see good results with annual treatments. Please keep in mind that prevention is very important and sun light UV rays are the leading cause of accelerated break-down of collagen in the skin which can make the skin saggy.
