I have bagginess under one eye. I had Fraxel laser treatment back in April. What can be done?
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago I got fraxel laser treatment back in April and upon healing noticed that I had a large bag under my left eye. Wondering if this was because of the treatment? What can be done to rectify the situation? I do have some redness in the corners of my eyes due to allergies and rubbing, also I do use Retin-A. The redness has only been present for the past 3 days. The combo of the two caused the redness. I only began using the Retin-A 2 months after the fraxel procedure.

Hi and thank you for your question! Having some levels of asymmetry in face is quite normal. In your case and based on the picture, the bag under the eye can be effectively treated with injection of hyaluronic acid fillers such as Belotero, Restylane or Volbella. Please make sure to work with a highly experienced cosmetic doctor for best results. I hope it helps and good luck!
