Is it possible to get rid of the veins on the backs of my hands?
A patient Staff asked 6 years ago I have good facial skin with minimal wrinkling as have been using prescription retinol at night and sunblock in the morning for the past 8 year’s. However, I have thin skin and my hands are giving away my age. (43). Can I get rid of these unsightly veins?

Hi and thank you for your question! Many patients pay lots of attention to their face while forgetting other parts (neck and hands being on the top of the list) which will eventually make them appear much older than they really are and I am glad to see that you are not among them! We can use filler injection to mask the veins and tendons on the back of hands and most patients see significant improvement. I commonly use Juvederm or Radiesse for hand injection and use micro-cannula for better results. I hope it helps and good luck!
