Nasolabial folds, Voluma to lift cheeks and help smile lines?
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago I was set on getting Juverderm injected into my smile lines, but after contacting a provider, I was informed that they usually use Voluma to lift the cheeks and in turn that helps with the smile lines. I’m not sure I want or need that. I have big cheeks already and I just want to improve my smile lines. Please help! What would you recommend if I was your patient.

Hi and thank you for your question! I commonly use fillers such as Voluma in cheeks to generate lift and smooth out the nasolabial folds, but the best approach can only be determined on a case by case basis as each patient is different. In your case, a more direct approach to the midface and nasolabial folds (as well as the area under the eyes) might be preferred. I hope it helps and good luck!
