One syringe of Volbella in the vertical lines above my lip. There is NO improvement after three weeks!
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago After being injected with Volbella the vertical lines became worse each day. After the fourth day I returned to my doctor and she said I was still swollen and needed to give it three weeks for the full effect. Now at three weeks it still looks worse than before any injections. Was this due to improper injection placement? What are my options? This cost me $600 for nothing!

Hi and thank you for your question! Any swelling following filler should be fully resolved within 2 weeks and at that time point, it is possible to do an accurate assessment on the results. Whenever there is a concern with lack of results following an injection, the best approach is to do a follow up with your physician and ask for a comparison between current pictures and pictures taken before the procedure. Almost always, side-by-side comparison of pictures can show the points of improvement and alleviate the concerns. I hope it helps and good luck!
