Restylane Defyne or Refyne for marionette lines?
A patient Staff asked 7 years ago I have some deep lines around my mouth, and I have use Perlane in the past- lasted maybe 3-4 months. because its such an active area. I have gotten so many different answers. Which one is the better choice for the areas on the face that are more animated

Hi and thank you for your question! It is hard to tell without seeing you, but in general I see better results with Restylane Refyne for marionette lines. Restylane Defyne is better for deeper injections but we do have other fillers that can be used here as well. In cases when a patient expressed concerns with the longevity of their filler results, I always recommend doing another follow up to compare current pictures with baseline ones to be able to objectively spot the points of improvement and areas in need of further work.
