Sculptura buttock injections with threadlifting?
A patient Staff asked 7 years ago I’m interested in having a BBL, but I do not have much body fat to transfer for my desired results. I came across someone who does Scupltura injections along with threadlifting for thinner patients like myself. Sounds as though this is an off-label use, but I am interested! Is this my heaven sent answer from the plastic surgery gods, or is this too good to be true? Results are said to last 18-24 months.

Hi and thank you for your question! Sculptra is an excellent filler and usually our preferred filler for BBL procedure as the results tend to be long-lasting. The key here is having right expectations since the amount of collagen/volume achieved with each vial can be somewhat limited, making it necessary to inject several vials. Threadlift can also be used in BBL to generate additional lift. These treatments can be great options for the right patients, including those without enough fat elsewhere to transfer.
