Uneven swelling after lip filler? 1 day post op.
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago I had lip filler just over 24 hours ago, it’s my 4th time having lip filler and I only ever get half a ml. Normally I do swell up quite a bit however this time my swelling is really uneven. I have a scar on my bottom lip where you can see it raised but also my top lip is bigger on one side. I’m just wondering if this is probably swelling and if it will go or what would be recommended as I could cry right now. Thanks.

Hi and thank you for your question! Swelling following filler injection is quite common and it can be uneven. You should see it gradually going done within the next few days and it should be completely gone within 2 weeks. If by that time you see any unevenness, you should do a follow up with your physician and he/she can easily fixed it for you. I hope it helps and good luck!
