Hi and thank you for your question! Bruising is common after filler (especially in highly vascular areas such as under eyes). Use of cannula for injection can help reducing it, but obviously it doesn’t completely eliminate the chance as was the case with you. There isn’t much that can be done once bruising happens and time is the best remedy. It should be all gone within 2 weeks. In the meanwhile, applying arnica and taking foods rich in vitamin C can help. I recommend by patients to get a fresh pineapple, chop it and but it in a blender and drink tons of it. It’s yummy and the vitamin C helps a bit with the bruising. I hope it helps and good luck!
