What is the best laser for scars and wrinkles? Prefer a little to no downtime

Hi and thank you for your question! While each patient is different, Fractional CO2 lasers are generally the best lasers to treat acne scars. You have done 2 treatments of Fraxel which is a CO2 laser, so that might be an option to consider to continue with. Please note that for best results, a series of treatment is often needed. Also, the laser is just a tool at hands of your physician and the treatment setting is very important to make sure you see the best results. At my clinic we often combine CO2 laser with brightening creams to be able to go higher on setting and achieve better results. Of course this might go contrary to your preference for a treatment with no or little down time as there will be some down-time with CO2 laser for most and when there is no or little down-time, it often means that the treatment is so low energy that the results will also be limited. Not always, but quite commonly, the old saying of no pain, no gain holds true here! I hope it helps and good luck!
