What to do with persistent unnatural ugly bags and cannula marks? They are still there weeks after under eyes fillers
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago I used to fill my under eyes in France with my dermatologist who uses Redensity 2 (Teoxane) and the result was stunning _After moved in the US I found a physician in NYC to do this procedure _ Not only it didn’t filled my hollows but now I have ugly bags_She refilled me lower the second time, to smooth the hollows that look even deeper now. But the result was the same. I finally have hyalunidase to dissolve it, but it’s still there, I don’t know what to do 🙁 its way worse than before Thank you!

Hi and thank you for your question! Treatment of bags and dark circles under eyes requires a greater level of skill and expertise to achieve a smooth and uniform transition from under the eyes to cheeks and other areas nearby without overfilling under the eyes. Fortunately hyaluronic acid fillers are very forgiving and can be dissolved and revised if needed as you did. That being said, your doctor needs to do an objective assessment (including comparison of current pictures with baseline pictures) to determine points of improvement and areas in need of more work. Working with a highly experienced cosmetic doctor who can show you several before and after pictures of her/his patients is highly recommended. I hope it helps and good luck!
