Bumped into someone’s head after getting lip fillers: Do you think the fillers will move around?
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago Hi. After 8 hours get lip fillers i get bumped into some head on my upper lip and its kinda swollen a little bit but it’s doesn’t hurt and bleeding. Do you think the fillers will move around after I got bumped? Did it change my lip shade ?

Hi and thank you for your question! Once filler is injected and a few hours is passed, it is very unlikely to move even after bumping into someone. Swelling is quite common following filler injection and it might get worse after the accident, but all swelling should fully resolved within two weeks and at that time if you have any concerns, you should do a follow up with your injector.
