I need advice on how to diminish acne scars with surgery, any suggestions?
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago I am a 53 year old female who suffered with acne. Now that I no longer have acne, I am left with pitted/rolling scars and need advice on how to diminish them as I know I cannot completely have them removed.

Hi and thank you for your question! The gold-standard treatment for acne scar is fractional CO2 laser and most patients will see great results. For deeper individual scars we can also do filler injection. You will most likely see great improvements with these treatments but please bear in mind that for optimal results, a series of laser treatment is often needed. I hope it helps and good luck!
