I have done IPL with little to no results. I have also had a few browns frozen. I have spent a lot of money with no results. I would love to use self-tanner on my legs without intensifying the spots I want to hide.

Treatment for Brown Spots

Hi and thank you for your question! While IPL can help with some brown spots, in my experience the best treatment for brown spots and many other pigmentation issues is Erbium laser skin resurfacing (Micro-laser peel). Combined with brightening creams, most patients can see tremendous improvements after a series of laser treatment sessions. It would be best to treat the spots before using self-tanner as it might make the brown spots darker. I hope it helps and good luck!
