Can Bellafill be used to fill in cellulite dimples? How long does it last?

  Hi and thank you for your question! We use Bellafill for filling under scars and it works great. By the same token, one might suggest that it can be used for cellulite dimples but given the fundamental differences in the structure of a depressed scar and cellulite, I do not recommend it until more studies are done. The skin manifestations of cellulite are resulted from a combination of excess fat and broken collagen and extra-cellular matrix that allows the fat to move out place and cause the dimples. Hence, to be effective against cellulite, a treatment should ideally reduce the fat, and stimulate collagen synthesis. While Bellafill can do accomplish the 2nd part, it does little to address the fat and hence, I do not expect it to work very well in this scenario. I hope it helps and good luck!
