Can Sculptra be used on the hands?

Cosmetic Treatments QuestionsCategory: Hand RejuvenationCan Sculptra be used on the hands?

I’m trying to do something to improve both the skin texture and volume loss on my hands. I’ve tried a series of Fraxel laser and have also tried Radiesse several times, though nothing really helps. The Radiesse just makes my hands painful/swollen for a week or two then everything is back to square one. Would Radiesse be a good option? Or are there other things I should try? Thaks so much!

Filler for Hand Rejuvenation

Hi and thank you for your question! Based on your description you seem to be a good candidate for hand rejuvenation with fillers but it is surprising that apparently you didn’t see the results you hoped. Is it possible that you didn’t get the full recommended amount of filler? Also, I highly suggest that you do an accurate and objective comparison using pictures taken before the filler injections and hopefully you will be able to spot the results and improvements. For further treatment, fillers remain the main option and for hands, we usually use Radiesse or Juvederm but Sculptra is generally not recommended for hands. I hope it helps and good luck!
