Got Ultherapy 2 weeks ago and I'm still scared what will happen due to the reviews. I want to avoid any damage to tissue and I do not want my face to tighten. What do I do? What supplements should I take? I am still extremely young (28) and feel tightness on my forehead and slight burning sensation on my neck. Other than that nothing hurts. Please please answer

Healing after Ultherapy

Hi and thank you for your question! If I'm not mistaken, you seem to be in a panic! Please don't and calm down. If you search online, you might find horror stories of things happening after Ultherapy, but you should take the vast majority of those stories by big grains of salt. Ultherapy has been extensively studied clinically and it is generally a safe treatment. The focused energy of Ultherapy is expected to stimulate your skin cells to make more collagen, contributing to skin tightening and rejuvenation. That is not expected to change or affect your skin in a negative way, and regardless, any changes will eventually be temporary and won't be lasting forever as our skin will continue to change as time passes. So at this time, a healthy routine with diet and activity would be best. Please do a follow up with your provider and ask them for assistance to address your concerns. I hope it helps and good luck!
