I’m struggling with signs of aging in the mid/lower face, and unsure of where to begin (threading? surgery? Kybella? Chin or cheek fillers?). Knowing that consultations tend to cost hundreds of $, I’m trying to make sure I pick the right kind of provider who can offer the most effective range of services. I tried Ultherapy which worked ok — which other procedures will help alleviate my marionette lines / jowling (and anything else that will most effectively rejuvenate/feminize my face)?

Advice for Mid-Lower Face Aging

Hi and thank you for your question! Ultherapy is a great treatment that will stimulate collagen and help with skin tightening and I recommend doing it on an annual basis. Other than that and based on the pictures, you appear to have some volume loss under the eyes and in the mid face (as well as temples) which can be best treated with fillers, while having a bit of heavy lower face and if upon examination it is determined that you have bulky masseter muscles, you can also try jaw slimming with Botox. So additional fillers can be done at other areas such as nose bridge and around the mouth. I cannot see the area under the chin, so not sure if you will be a candidate for Kybella. Overall, by adding more fillers in the temples and mid face and slimming down the jaw area, we will be achieve a more feminine (V shaped) face. I hope it helps and good luck!
