Hi and thank you for your question and sorry to hear about the issues. Following any filler injection, swelling is very common and during the first few days up to 2 weeks, it can be very difficult to distinguish filler from swelling. Hence, I always advise my patients to wait for at least 2 weeks following any filler injection and then if there are any concerns with the results, come for a follow up and we can do a reassessment and use enzyme to revise the results if needed. Enzyme injection sooner than that is not recommended. At this time, I recommend that you allow the two week period for all the swelling to go down and then do a follow up. Of course this is only the case if the aesthetic look of the results is your concern and if you are experiencing other issues (pain, tenderness, redness) you should do the follow up right away. For best aesthetic results, it’s always better to go conservatively and work in steps. I hope it helps and good luck!
