What can I do about my dark eye circles and facial asymmetry?

A patient asked 4 years ago
I've noticed a few things that have bugged me about my face and was wondering what direction I should go within making changes. I've had dark eye circles for my life and a flat face - as you can see there's a gap around my upper cheek and eye area. Also, one of my eyelids hangs more than the other, and my nose has a bump. To address these issues, should I get fillers or would you recommend me to consider surgery?

Treatments for Dark Circles and Asymmetry

Hi and thank you for your question! First, there is some level of asymmetry present in all faces and it's part of our natural beauty. If the asymmetry is too noticeable, we can make some adjustments with filler and Botox at times but again, it is often impossible to aim for 100% symmetry as it does not exist in nature! Regarding your face, I highly recommend a holistic approach to address various areas. You seem to be a good candidate for filler treatment for dark circles under eyes. You might also see some benefits from jaw slimming with Botox to achieve a slimmer lower face. I hope it helps and good luck!
