10 days post vi chemical peel with the precision plus formula. I am of Asian decent and wanted to correct hyperpigmentation from sun spots. I started noticing dark and uneven skin. It must be PIH! Is this permanent?

VI Peel and Pigmentation

Hi and thank you for your question and pictures. It would be best to do a follow up with your provider for an assessment to determine if what you are experiencing is indeed PHI or other post-treatment reactions and skin shedding that might normally happen following the peel. If this is indeed PHI, the reaction is typically not permanent and it will fade away as time passes. There are treatments that can be done to speed up recovery, including skin brightening creams and possibly lasers. I hope it helps and good luck!
