After getting Botox 4 times, I’ve noticed a small dent where the needle injection was placed. Is this permanent damage?

The dent is still there after 6 months. Could this be permanent damage? It's 2 centimeters in diameter. I'm afraid to get more botox. Is this a side effect?

Dent after Botox

Hi and thank you for your question! It is difficult to tell based on the picture and specially with no baseline/before picture to compare, but some dents/depression might happen after Botox as various muscles are adjusting to the effect but they should all be temporary in nature, just as the effects of Botox is temporary. While not impossible, I doubt that this is related to Botox, given that it's lasting for so long, but you should do a follow up with your injector to have it checked and assessed. Dents such as this can generally be treated with some filler injection. I hope it helps and good luck!
