had plasma pen treatment 2 months ago and my skin looks terrible. I have enlarged pores, texture issues, sagging skin around eyes. Feels like a layer of dry skin just sitting on top of my face. I can’t wear makeup as it settles in enlarged pores and cakes up where the skin is extra dry. The skin around my eyes especially makes me look 10 years older (I’m 42). Are there any exfoliating/tightening treatments for whole face, especially eye area?

Exfoliation and Tightening Treatments

Hi and thank you for your question and pictures. There are a number of treatments that you can consider: For enlarged pores and to improve skin texture, probably the best options is Fractional CO2 laser treatment. Microneedling can also help although it is generally not as effective as CO2 laser. CO2 laser might also help a bit with skin tightening, but for best results, you might want to look into Ultherapy for that. Exfoliating treatments such as HydraFacial can always help by bringing out the youthful skin and they are recommended as part of routine skin maintenance, but they might not help as much as the other treatments I mentioned for your specific concerns.
