Hi and thank you for your question! Aging is a continuous process that starts as we set foot into this world but at times, we might become more aware of its signs and get too much worried about it. It is most likely that the lines you are worried about have been there for some time but you might have noticed them more than before. Regardless, you are absolutely on the right path with applying sunblocks and visiting your dermatologist for a check. Sun rays are by far the leading cause of skin aging and adequate and continuous sun protection is the key. Please make sure you are using a high-quality broad-spectrum sunblock with SPF 30+ and make sure you are using it properly – applying well before you go out, use a generous amount, use every day even if it’s cloudy and renew several times during the day. Other lifestyle choices will also help to maintain healthy skin (and healthy body): a good diet rich in vitamins and healthy food and low in sugars, moderation in alcohol, getting enough sleep, avoiding smoking and minimizing stress, etc. Fine lines on the face at this stage can often be controlled with skincare products including Retin-A products (preferably used at night only and in moderation). I hope it helps and good luck!
