While I am a big fan of exercising in general and a healthy lifestyle is paramount in keeping your skin healthy, I am highly doubtful that facial exercise can do anything about preventing wrinkles. If anything, using too many muscles in the face (or having muscles with strong tone in the face) is a cause of having lines and wrinkles and that is one of the main reasons we use Botox. Likewise, the impact on strengthening facial bones is expected to be minimal. By far the most effective way of preventing lines and wrinkles in the face is a regular and proper use of sunblocks as sun UV rays are the leading cause of skin aging and collagen loss.
