Eye Bags and Nonablative fractional erbium laser?
A patient asked 7 years ago Would this type of laser help tighten the bags under the eye or are these lasers only used to eliminate wrinkles? My bags are not really big but I do have shadows which I want to eliminate.

Hi and thank you for your question! Erbium laser is a great treatment for around the eyes and it can help with fine lines and wrinkles as well as providing some skin tightening effects. However, the treatment of choice for bags and shadows under the eyes is filler injection and most patients will see very impressive improvements when the injection is done skillfully and with the right type of filler (typically Restylane Silk, Belotero or Volbella). I recommend using micro-cannula for injection to better results and less bruising. I hope it helps and good luck!
