How dangerous is it to get Botox in the face?
A patient asked 7 years ago I am scared after reading side effects on Botox, especially weakness in rest of the body, allergic reaction and difficulties swallowing and breathing!

While Botox can have side effect - like any other medications - the risk is very low and millions upon millions of patients have received Botox in face without any problems. Please make sure to get the treatment from an experienced physician who can evaluate you carefully to make sure you are a candidate (as contraindications to Botox treatment exist), and then can does the injections properly and at right areas to achieve the best results.
