How safe is Sculptra? I heard that you can go blind/ very rare though. I’ve had it three times no problem.
A patient Staff asked 6 years ago I have never had a problem but I am scheduled to get it again in a few weeks. having heard this for the first time I am nervous. first time I got it was in 2005 and had three subsequent treatments over the years. is this something I should be concerned about? I am going to my dermatologists’ partner who specialize in fillers.

Hi and thank you for your question! While there are some risks with all fillers, they are generally very safe and Sculptra is among the safest fillers as long as it is injected properly and in the right areas. As long as you are working with an experience physician, you should be fine and no concern is warranted. I hope it helps and good luck!
