I’m a 23 y/o female who’s struggling with under eye hollowness and it truly bothers me, any suggestions?
A patient Staff asked 5 years ago I’ve dealt with deep under eye area since I was the age of 15 pretty sure it’s genetics but I’m not sure. I’m always being told how tired I look and how deep my eyes are everyone always tell me something about my eyes and it bothers me. Especially since I already have big eyes. I’ve tried filler twice already but I feel as though there’s not much of a difference if anything now I feel like my nose looks way fatter that it ever did and I didn’t have a problem with my nose.

Hi and thank you for your question! You are certainly not the first patient I’ve seen with this issue and how it negatively coveys a tired and exhausted look. The good news is that we can effectively treat the dark circles with skillful injection of fillers. We can restore the volume loss in the area under the eyes (using filler such as Belotero, Restylane or preferably Volbella) with some additional filler in the adjacent areas toward the cheeks for a more uniform transition and the results in most patients is incredible for a procedure that can take only 30-40 minutes! I highly recommend that you consult with an experienced cosmetic doctor who specializes in filler treatments under the eyes as this is an advanced procedure. I hope it helps and good luck!
