I’m ooking for someone who does lower eye bag surgery for puffy eyes & laugh lines surgery near Frisco, Texas. Any suggestions?
A patient asked 6 years ago What is the recovery time for both and fees? Pain? Was it worth it? I find Botox lasts forever w wrinkles but when it comes to fillers under my eyes and laugh lines I see it disappearing as early as 6 weeks which doesn’t seem time and cost effective. I want a lower maintenance face. Thanks.

Hi and thank you for your question! I am not an eye surgeon and defer your question to my colleagues, but since you mentioned that fillers do no last for you, I wanted to remind you that there are many different types of fillers than can be used and this combined with the skill and technique of your injector can have a huge impact. For under the eyes, Volbella can be a good option and it generally lasts better than Belotero (and perhaps Restylane). However, in many patients the treatment can't really be complete without addressing the adjacent areas in cheeks and for the cheeks, nothing comes close to Voluma in my opinion. The cheek filler is also going to help a lot with the laugh lines on top of some direct injections under the folds. All in all, I do think that an experienced cosmetic doctor can still help you a lot to achieve the look you desire, hopefully with longer-lasting results.
