Hi and thank you for your question! The short answer is no, Botox is not expected to cause long-term or permanent changes in the face. This being said, a common phenomenon is that following treatment with Botox and correction of associated issues, some patients might start noticing other issues more than before, and their increased focus on these “new” (but really pre-existing) issues might persist even after the temporary effects of Botox has passed, thinking that Botox has cause long-lasting issues.
