Help just had tear troth injected and swollen immediately after treatment really worried
Swelling after filler injection at the tear trough is very common. It is usually at the highest level when patient wakes up the day after the injection and that is usually when I get the anxious calls! Your swelling seems to be more than the average but it is not off the chart. You can ice it and usually in the next couple of days it will slowly and gradually go down. With the swelling subsiding, it usually takes about 2 weeks after the treatment until the filler under the eyes settles and that the final look/result can be assessed. At that time I will do any revisions if it is needed.
Saying that, if you have signs of infection such as redness, tenderness or heat at the area of injection, you should contact your physician right away and schedule an immediate follow up. Good luck!
