This is my second time getting a filler ever but I recently had Juvederm injected into my upper lip 2-2.5 weeks ago to ” disguise ” prognathism(major underbite) . The right side of upper lip (the line at the top ) is raised & seems fuller and while the other side(Left)corner crease line is down and is not even with the fullness . My phys. Did it a second time and objected .2 more and that still didn’t help much st all just some purple bruising. I’m upset with the uneven crooked lip result. Help!

Upper Lip Asymmetry after Juvederm
Hi and thank you for your question! The key in doing corrections after any filler injection is patience – waiting for at least two weeks following each injection before doing more, and doing revisions in small steps. It seems that you have waited two weeks, but if you still have bruising, you might have to wait a bit more for it to completely fo away and then you should go back for another follow up. Revision and adjustment of hyaluronic acid fillers is fairly easy at skilled hands using a combination of additional filler and enzyme injection to achieve more symmetry.
