What is the best procedure to reduce eye bags and wrinkles under the eye?
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago I also have visible veins here so have been advised that fillers may not be suitable in case the needle catches a vein? The eye bags are my main problem but I’ve seen some before and after shots that have shown the removal of the bags can leave wrinkles instead.

Hi and thank you for sharing your question! In my opinion, filler injection is among the best treatments for eye bags and dark circles under the eyes. Wrinkles in the area can be treated with skin tightening treatments using lasers and radiofrequency, but my patients tend to see the most impressive results with filler. You are correct in indicating that the area under the eyes is rich with blood vessels and performing injection under the eyes requires high level of skill. I almost always perform these injections using flexible micro-cannulas with blunt tips to minimize the risk of complications. I hope it helps and good luck!
