Would Bellafil work for an atropic scar that didn’t result from acne but rather trauma?

I had a traumatic scar excised and was left with yet more scarring from having stitches. After trying excision which helped but still left scars, I tried laser which damaged skin texture. Now I'm looking into fillers. Would Bellafil work for my atrophic scar that was caused by trauma rather than acne? I read that Bellafil is specifically for acne scars...but I'm hoping it could work for any kind of indented scarring. Any idea?

Bellafill for Atrophic Scar

Hi and thank you for your question! Scarring is a general pathway of healing that body pursues for certain types of skin injury and the usefulness of Bellafill in treatment of a scar depends more on the shape of the scar than its cause. Atrophic and pitted scars are generally good candidate for filler (included Bellafill) treatment but to be sure, you should see an experienced cosmetic doctor to examine the scars. I hope it helps and good luck!
