Asymmetry in lips especially when smiling, how can they be fixed?
A patient Staff asked 8 years ago What can be done? Both temporary/ permanent solutions welcome. I plan on getting Invisalign this year but my dentist said that won’t fix the lip issue.

Hi and thank you for your question! Some levels of asymmetry is normal and present in all faces, but if reaches a level that starts bothering you, it can be treated conservatively using combination of Botox and fillers. In your case, injection of Botox at carefully selected areas might offer some help. These types of injection require great experience and knowledge of the anatomy of the face and placement and function of muscles, so please consult with a highly experienced physician.
